    Spotlight on Greg Eash,

    Chief Operating Officer, equivant Corrections

Why did you get into the corrections industry?

I was hired within a week after graduation as a patrolman in my hometown in Indiana. After about a year, I relocated to Pennsylvania and then North Carolina before returning home and finding a position in a jail in a neighboring county. I was approached after six months to move to the patrol side, but had already been promoted and

    Greg Eash

requested to stay in the corrections division.

Favorite thing about working at equivant Corrections?

I truly enjoy working with people in various seasons in life with different life experiences. I have always been a curious person and find it interesting to hear about a person's past and how they got to where they are today. I also enjoy the various things that happen daily at equivant Corrections and learning new things every day.

    Favorite book?

My favorite book is Soul of a Lion: A biography of General Joshua L. Chamberlain by Willard M. Wallace. I enjoy any book about the Revolutionary or Civil War Generals.

When you are not working, what are your favorite things to do?

I have three teenage children that keep me busy most of the time. My two youngest are in high school and active in baseball, football, volleyball, basketball, and softball so there is not much time off throughout the year. When I find some free time, I enjoy coaching baseball. I love watching hockey when I get a chance and following my favorite team - Tampa Bay Lightning. I've been a Chicago Cubs fan since I was a little boy, so I try to catch a game at Wrigley when time allows.
